Beloved husband of the late Bonnie (nee Erb) Toenjes for nearly 67 years; loving son of the late Bernard and Norma (nee Doering) Toenjes; devoted father to Tracy (Mark) Nuelle; adoring papa of Christopher, Alex, and Jennifer Nuelle; loving brother of Sister Monica Marie Toenjes; our dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Louis was preceded in death by 9 siblings: Bernard (Agatha) Toenjes, Marie (Joseph) Donovan, Agnes (Robert) Donovan, Rita Toenjes, Gertrude (Harold) Noftsinger, Karl (Shirley) Toenjes, Rosemary (John) Duckworth, Paul (Delores) Toenjes, and Laurence (Marianne) Toenjes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Vincent DePaul Society are greatly appreciated.
