(nee: Kessler) entered eternal rest April 3, 2022, at the age of 99 Years. She is survived by Esther Rowland (Frank), of Harstene Island, Washington, and Marian Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as two granddaughters, Hilarie (Joe) and son Nico Verrengia of Denver, Colorado and Emilie Portell (Stephanie Detlefsen) of Portland, Oregon. Her sister Mary Lee Leip of St. Lois, also survives.
Dorothy was born December 27, 1922 in German Community in Madison County, Missouri, and lived in Missouri until 1978. Thereafter, she lived in Western Colorado until she returned to Missouri in 2002 and lived the remainder of her life at Laclede Groves Retirement Community in St. Louis. Her family will gather this summer in St. Louis for a memorial service.
