I only knew Sandy for a short time. But in that time I had come to realize what a special person she was. She was kind, sincere and accepted me with open arms. Rest In Peace sweet lady, for you will be dearly missed!!
Sandy was a sweet woman. She was always very welcoming and inviting. She made everyone feel like they were at home when stopping by for a visit. The first time I came to her house she kept offering me sweets, snacks, and drinks and insisted until I settled on a diet soda. I enjoyed sitting in the living room with Sammie, Dan and Sandy listening to their stories of how they grew up. We talked about her first job, their first date together, stories from “years ago” and even color together at the kitchen table. Also who would’ve thought that a 75 year old woman (at the time) would be showing Sammie and I an app on our phones called Happy Color. Anyways I know I wasn’t extremely close to Sandy but she always felt like another grandmother to me. I hope she is at peace.
mama, you are one of the most beautiful souls i’ve ever known. thank you for 23 years of nothing but unconditional love and support. i’ll forever cherish the days fadi and i came over to just talk and color, and eat sweets of course. you understood me and my anxiety like no one else did, and you were always there to give me advice and help me through it. i’ll miss you more than words could ever say. i feel at peace knowing you’re no longer suffering. physically you may be gone, but your spirit lives forever.
Debbie, Dan and Donna, I’m so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your mom, and your dad. I hope he is doing okay.

Mimaw, I wish I had the proper words to say but I know my words could never say enough. You were the greatest grandmother a girl could dream of having. Thank you for making me and the other grand babies your life. I knew if there was ever anyone in this world I could depend on, it was my Mimaw. Your love for me was without conditions or limits.
Thank you for being at every event, for never missing a big moment in my life, and for supporting me through every single up and down in life. My life was better, fuller, and more filled with love because of you.
This is by far the hardest goodbye (for now) I’ve ever had to do, but I count myself lucky for having had someone I loved so much it made goodbye so hard.
I take comfort in knowing you feel no more pain. No more walkers, pills, scooters, or sickness. I can only imagine how happy your family was to have you home.
I’m not sure how life is supposed to just go on without you, but I know you live on in us forever.
I miss you so much. I love you forever & always.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I know it’s a tough time for all of you. I can relate all to well. I wish there was some way to take your pain away. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I’ve been privileged to have known Sandy for many years. We first worked together for several years at Cure’of Ars then bowled on a woman’s league and mixed league for several years. I always loved her laugh. She was an inspiration to me as she fought her way through her many health issues these last several years. God bless you Sandy. I know you are I the arms of our Lord. Prayers for Dan and family as you deal with your sadness in loosing such a wonderful woman.
It is so hard for me to say goodbye to this beautiful woman! She wasn’t just my aunt she was a sister to me. We were close in age and we shared things that sisters share. I am going to miss the phone calls we had where we talked about everything and the secrets we shared together. She loved her family so much and she always made sure I was a part of her family. They included me in everything. I am so thankful for that. She and Dan would do anything for you. I can’t tell you how many times they were there for me! All I had to do was call and they came running without hesitation. I will always remember and be grateful for the trips we went on together. We had so much fun. I am so glad I have those wonderful memories. She was a very caring person and family meant the world to her. My heart is broken but I know she is in a much better place now. She is with her family on the other side and she’s not in pain anymore and I am very thankful for that. So, Rest In Peace Aunt/Sister Sandy! I will always love you forever! Someday I will see you again! When that day comes I look forward to being welcomed by you and the rest of the family. Sending prayers and loving thoughts to her family. God Bless!!
