Funeral Friday, July 16, 2021 at Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 4900 Ringer Road. Visitation Friday 9 am – 11 am, with Mass of Christian burial at 11 am. Interment private. Celebration of Kate’s life continues with lunch immediately following Mass at St Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish Center.

Kate was an amazing women she was loved and respected by so many. She was a person I could share my feelings when I was going through so much with my Jim. She was my rock and I loved her as a dear friend. I was so happy to come to work for the Tabor’s they made me feel like family. Kate may be fly with the angels and say hello to Jim!
To Chris, Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, daughter in laws, siblings, all of Kate’s family and friends, I know how deeply you will miss Kate. She was a very loving, giving and wonderful woman of faith. Beautiful smile, to go with her giving heart. Kind to all, and always made you feel so comfortable when around her. Now she is being comforted in God’s arms.

Kate was such a lovely, sweet person. She always had a smile and kind word whenever she spoke with everyone she encountered from SMMA. My deepest sympathy and prayers to theTabor family and extended family for your loss.
Kate was my first college roommate in the Kappa house at the University of Tulsa. Before she knew it, she and her family taught me faith, love and the beauty of friendship. Though we just recently reconnected, she was still a shining example of faith and family. Kate, you will always be part of my heart. Kate was always so happy and full of life and love for others. She always treated her physical therapy patients with the utmost compassion and treated them as a whole person. She was always smiling and inquiring about how others are doing. She will be dearly missed.
We in the Webster Groves class of ’72 will miss Kate. She was a sweetheart and loved by all.

I am so sorry to hear that Kate has passed. I worked with Kate and Chris when we were all very young therapists. I can still remember her beautiful smile and kind ways. I know that she will be missed, but she passed a light to many people while she lived.

We were so very saddened to learn of Kate’s passing. The last time I was with her was at our high school reunion quite a few years ago…yet it feels like only yesterday. She was that special kind of person who people connected with so easily and so deeply. She was kind and funny and genuine. Everybody loved Kate! I will miss Kate so much. Although separated by time and distance for decades, we are cousins who grew up together through Webster Groves High School and Presbyterian Church. Our heart and prayers go out to her family.
I knew who Kate was from high school. She reached to me on Facebook and we chatted a bit. That was very nice of her. I am saddened by the fact she won’t be able to enjoy her grandchild who made her so happy. May Kate rest in peace.
While it is a year later, I have just found out about Katie’s passing. My thoughts are with all the Tabors and the Slosses I knew so well. She introduced me to my profession of occupational therapy 42 years ago. I have so many memories of Katie in the neighborhood of S. Rock Hill Road.
