Beloved husband of Sally Syberg (nee Gumpert) for over 64 years; dearest father of Deborah (Raymond) Bunse, Richard (Robin Plohr), Fawn (Ronald) Lindquist, Dennis (Shelly), Kirk (Lisa) and Brett Syberg (Heather Trimborn); loving grand-father of Scott, Aaron, Rebecca, Meredith, Sarah, Mary, Ric, Joshua, Tayler, Carly, Robert, Jacob, Melissa, Benjamin, Brianne, Nathan, Timothy, Maddison, Conner, Austin, Payton, and Carson; great-grandfather of 21; dear brother-in-law of Jennie (Jerry) Kausch and Phil (Judy) Gumpert; our dear grandfather-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Richard had an infectious smile. He was an extremely hard worker that instilled family values in the countless lives he touched. Animal lover, Cardinals fan, slotplayer and amazing cook. His legacy is going to live on through his family, who will continue to strive to make him proud.
