SERVICES: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Thursday, April 6, 11:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Kathleen was an avid cat lover and would appreciate contributions to the Humane Society of Missouri.
I cannot say enough about this beautiful lady that we lost last week, Kathleen Sullivan Forgive me this is so long but she was truly one of a kind; funny, loving, sweet, loyal and stubbornly independent. She started as my co-worker at May Company where she had a 42 year career, starting at 16-years-old for a summer job and stayed a lifetime, until the company sold out. She was my best friend and she became family first for me, Jen and Cory, then after sharing her with my siblings, inlaws, our friends, everyone loved her, our whole family for 20+ years She was my traveling partner but went on even more trips with Jen, Cory, my Mom and then Carter. Her Carter, she loved him before he was born until her death. As a toddler he started calling her Bam-moo, she was his Kathie, they laughed and acted so silly when together, we truly thought they would get us thrown out of some stores and restaurants She was with us for every birthday, wedding, shower, birth and funeral. Then our trips, they were literally all over the United States; Branson, Disney World, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Chicago, then mine and her girl’s trips to Boston, New Hampshire, Maine and Washington D.C. I truly regret the one place we didn’t get to take her, that she really wanted to go, was up in the Arch, she had watched it being built while working at the downtown May Co I wonder how much loss one family can handle in a very short time For now, I am thankful God put Kathie in our lives, we will never forget her and Kathie we love you Praying for her blood family, wonderful nieces and nephew and their families she loved so much, and her sister, Karen. I know she is now pain free, laughing and acting silly in Heaven with her sister, JoAnn and my Mom

Kathie was my friend and next door neighbor for over 20 years. What a terrific lady. She loved her independence… and her cats. The Trelane crew won’t be the same without her.
