Stroup, Betty J. (nee Wigger), Sun. Jan. 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Stroup. The daughter of Elva “Huskey” Wigger and Clarence R. Wigger, the late Bill Wigger, Sam, Mike Smart, daughter Lisa Stroup (her loving husband L.D. Stroup), she is survived by her sister Connie (Wigger) Chesher, son Joseph R. (Debra) Smart, sister-in-law Loraine (Watters) Wigger, her daughter who passed away at 16 years of age, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Stroup was a homemaker, Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, devout member of the First Baptist Church of Arnold and she had many other community interests and hobbies.

Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Fri. Jan. 7, 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Mon. Jan. 10, 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery (Lucas & Hunt Rd.)
