Beloved husband of Dorothy Stovesand (nee Batek) for nearly 69 years. Dear son of the late Hubert and Hattie Stovesand; dear brother of the late LaVerne Schlosser; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Dr. Stovesand had been appointed to the Advisory Board of Gravois Bank. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Missourri State and St. Louis Dental Societies and he was past president of the Concord Village Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot in the European Theatre of Operations. Dr. Stovesand was a resident of St. Louis County and member of St. Catherine Laboure Church.
Services: Visitation at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church Monday, May 16, 9 a.m. until funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment JB National Cemetery. Contributions to St. Catherine Laboure food pantry appreciated.
