Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Saturday, March 7, 2020.  Loving husband of Janis Stieren for 66 years.  Dearest father of Daniel (Tammy) Stieren, Sandy (Dan) Frey, Michael (Kim) Stieren and Mark (Bee) Stieren.  Beloved grandpa of Brad, Clayton (Rachel), Taylor (Stacey), Amy, Kelly (Joe),Laura, Kate (Mark), Daniel (Stacey), Ben, Elyse, Cher, Hannah (Philip) and Janae.  Great grandpa of Weston, Ellie, Evan, Max, Lola, and Hannah.  Dear brother of Richard (Carol) and the late Thomas (survived Joan), and the late Mary (Al).  Dear brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Jerry was a very kind, gentle, hardworking and determined person who accomplished much throughout his life.  He led his wife and children on many fabulous adventures.  He encouraged and supported his children in their endeavors throughout their lives.

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, March 13, 9 am to Assumption Catholic Church 9:30 am mass.  Interment J. B. National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959.  Visitation Thursday 4 to 8 pm.
