Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Just knowing him you couldn’t help but love him. His sense of humor fit any situation perfectly. I’m sure my dad, Rosie and Joanne are greeting him into heaven amongst other family and friends. He definitely left footprints on all our hearts and he will be dearly missed!
I will miss you beyond words can describe. Nothing will replace the piece of my heart you have taken with you. I’m blessed to have been a part of your life and between you and my beautiful sister, I have felt love in the deepest way, unconditionally. Thank you for all the glorious years of laughter, memories and love…
It is with a heavy heart & many tears that we have to let you go. You gave us laughter, smiles, & a twinkling eye many times over the years. We have spent many happy times with you & Marian. You will be in our hearts & prayers until we can see you again . We love you & miss you.
Another beautiful soul earned his wings, Michael our wonderful brother in law will live in our hearts forever!
I am so sorry Marian. Sending love and prayers of comfort.
Mike was not only my family, but both of our good, close friend. We missed him the moment he was gone. So many wonderful memories of our time with both of you, Marian. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Mike was one of the Spray cousins. He was 6 months younger than me, and he, cousins Joan (Woehrle) Kelly, and Bill Woehrle and my brother Rick always seemed to be together. Our families would get together all the time and we always had great fun. Mike had a terrific sense of humor and we loved listening to Spike Jones records and corny jokes from Uncle Bill growing up. Many, many fond memories from childhood, and then with Mike and Marian and Ron and Joan Kelly as adults, although not as frequent after I moved to Arizona. So sorry for his loss, and my condolences to his wife Marian, and children Alan and Ryan and families.
As one of the “younger” cousins, I was able to admire the Big Three: Joan, Rob and Mike. Along with Bill and Cindy, many great times at holidays and birthdays, and especially during the summer. As adults, I learned of Mike’s quick and dry wit – a good prerequisite for the Gokenbach family. Mike, you will be missed, but I’m glad you are at peace.
Marian, Alan and Ryan, so sorry for your loss. You are all in our prayers.
Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.
Today I am sure Mike is golfing his best game.
It always made me laugh that he had his clubs in his trunk at ALL times. And that is how he bought cars…he had to make sure his golf clubs fit in the trunk.
God whispered to all of us, Mike’s body is tired. He worked hard all his life. He gave with all his heart unconditionally. He has touched many souls, and has changed their lives forever for the best.
Treasure the laughter, the joy, the love and the tears you all shared with him. He can still hear all of you. Continue to laugh with him. Continue to cry with him. He will continue to feel the love, the joy and heartfelt sadness all of you experience.
I am calling him home to renew his spirit as I need his help to watch over all of you from heaven.
Love,
God
My condolences to the Spray Family. I worked with Mike for many years and he was always pleasant to work with.
Great memories! I still remember Mike and Ron Kelly
working on Mike’s ’58 Chevy 348 “pig hauler” in
Ron’s driveway (me watching) and having parts
left over after they were “finished”. But they
always managed to get it runniing. My condolences
to all of his loved ones.

His heaven on earth,
Words never to be spoken,
Upon eternal life.
From across the lake,
Hopeful as the sun reveals itself,
Through decadent red skies,
Elegant clouds form a majestic passageway;
Strong winds call him home.
On the wings of love,
Embraced by blessings,
Earned from a lifetime of compassion,
With an escort of angels,
His spirit gently glides to heaven.
