Lenette H. Shaw 82, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sat. Dec. 9, 2017 passed away following a long battle from the complications of diabetes. Beloved wife of the late Jerome P. Shaw Sr. for 64 years, dearest mother of Jerome Jr. “Jerry” (Cindy), Cary (Charlotte), Keith (Mary), Stephanie and Scott (Kathryn) Shaw, loving grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 13; dear sister of Brian (the late Debbie) Campbell: our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Born June 24, 1935 to Leonard and Loretta Campbell. She grew up in the City’s south side attended St. Cecilia.Working at Wabash RR, Lenette met and married Jerry Shaw in ’53. They loved, laughed, worked and played for 64 years to provide a wonderful life for their family.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Fri., Dec. 15, 9:30 a.m. to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Lenette and Jerry’s name. Visitation Thurs., 4-8 p.m.
