James Scoles of Eureka, Missouri was born on October 10, 1929, in Effingham, Illinois to Paul and Juanita (nee James) Scoles and entered into rest on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his home in Victorian Gardens at the age of 92 years and 102 days.
He is preceded in death by his father Paul, mother Juanita, brother Bob, sister Joyce (Krueger), brother Gary and sister Deborah.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Young) Scoles,
Four (4) children Kerry (Pat) Scoles, Cindy (Brian) Goettelman, Tim (Becky) Scoles and Dennis (Jill) Scoles,
Eight (8) grandchildren,
Eight (8) great-grandchildren, and
Two (2) siblings Linda (Ted) Halker and Keith Scoles.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and gardening, but most of all he enjoyed his family.
A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Avenue, Valley Park, Missouri.
God Bless Uncle Jim. Always had a smile on his face, and a kind word. We will surely miss him, and my hope is that he and my Dad are having a nice conversation in Heaven.
