Schmidt, Steven Andrew “Drew”, passed away on March 4, 2023.
Beloved son of Steven and Dana (nee Long) Schmidt; loving brother of Hannah (Brian Wynes) and Elissa (Aaron Steffan) Schmidt; cherished grandson of Edward and Sandra Schmidt and Janet (the late Leroy) Long; dearest uncle of Myles and Hadley Trueblood; our dear nephew, cousin and friend to many.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, March 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm then to Crosspoint Church for visitation from 9:00 am until service at 10:00 am on Friday, March 10, 2023.

We are so very sorry for this loss. Our daughter Katie enjoyed so much the time she spent with Drew on the shooting team at Concordia and she loved getting his phone calls saying “Come over and play Wii with us!” He will be sorely missed. Learning of Drew’s passing fills our hearts with such sadness. We are so thankful for all the time, memories and his friendship. We will always remember the summer days together waiting for shooting results. Watching him drive that golf cart around with his friends and seeing his smiling face when he accomplished something he had set forth to do. Drew was always willing to learn something new or try something different. The kindness he has shown our family will forever be remembered.
