 Passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by Robert, her beloved husband of 61 years. Joan was the loving mother of Robert (Sarah), Steven (Janet), Mary (John) Dornhoffer, Thomas (Mary Alice), and Jeffrey (Leslie), and the doting grandmother of 16 grandchildren. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and taking care of her dogs. Joan welcomed all of her numerous guests with a ready smile and a sharp sense of humor. She was an excellent artist and engaged in numerous arts and crafts. She also worked as a librarian on a St. Louis County Library bookmobile for over 20 years–a job she loved. Joan was a long-time parishioner of St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church.

Services: The funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin on Tuesday, April 11, at 10 a.m., with visitation at the church beginning at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Justin or Cross Catholic Outreach.
