(nee Guss) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Saverio “Sam” Saputo; dearest mother of Peter (Susan) Saputo; loving Nana of John Peter “Jack” and Joseph Paul Saputo; dear sister of Jean (the late Pat) Bretzler, Brenda (Jim) McDonnell, and the late Margaret (Sal) Mayo and Patricia (Frank) Schmitt; special sister-in-law of Josephine Delia and Delores Saputo; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

JoAnn served for 52 years as legal secretary and office manager for Aubuchon, Raniere & Panzeri and predecessor firms.

To meet JoAnn was to know JoAnn and become friends.  Filled with kindness and compassion, she gave selflessly of her time and talents to others.  JoAnn found joy in many things, but mostly in her faith and relationships with family and friends.

 

SERVICES: Visitation at Assumption Catholic Church Saturday, January 8, 9:30AM until funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Masks required and vaccination highly preferred. For those of you uncomfortable attending, Mass will be livestreamed at assumptionstl.org and there will be a Celebration of Life planned in the future. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
