Marlyn G. Rybacki (nee Squires), 85, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully, Monday, June 27, 2022, at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri surrounded by her husband and family. Marlyn was a retired school bus driver for the Melville School District. Marlyn and her husband, John, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. She was of Catholic faith. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, and watching Cardinal baseball, but most of all, spending time with her family. Marlyn and John left their long-time marital home in 2017 and moved to Nazareth Senior Living Center in Oakville, Missouri where they lived independently. Marlyn never missed an opportunity to attend a social event or a Bingo game at the Center. She made many dear friends and card partners during her time at Nazareth. Marlyn was born August 23, 1936, in Lemay, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Alma Bender (nee Gebhardt) and James Squires.
Marlyn is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, John T. Rybacki, of Oakville, Missouri, and five children: Susan (Gerald) Beck of Montgomery City, Missouri, Mitchell Rybacki of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Janet (Matthew) Libera of Barnhart, Missouri, Joann (Mark) Klump of Fenton, Missouri and Sharon (Michael) Grapperhaus of Troy, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, Jacob (Julie) Beck, Matthew (Holly) Libera, Joshua (Kelly) Beck, Danae (Arnulfo) Veloquio, Emily (Michael) Mueller, Keely Rybacki, Joseph (Megan) Beck, Jordan (CJ) Stewart, Zachary (Darryl) Klump, Taylor Klump, Ty (Barbara) Grapperhaus, Logan Grapperhaus, Ben Grapperhaus and Andrew Klump; and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Nazareth Senior Living Center Chapel located in the Carondelet Manor Building, 6 Nazareth, Oakville, Missouri. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. with a Catholic Mass at 10:15. Burial immediately following at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Kids with Cancer in Maplewood, Missouri, St. Jude’s or The American Parkinson Disease Association.
