age 76, died May 24th, 2022 in St. Louis, MO after extended illness involving his heart and lungs surrounded by Debbie McBride and his four daughters: Janet, Sherry, Jackie, and Vickie and 3 of his grandchildren.

David was born July 25th, 1945 in St. Louis, MO the 7th of 9 children. Preceded in death by his parents Orville and Dora Mae Rutherford. Five siblings preceded him in death: Leola Coke, Raye Osborne, Dock Rutherford, Jewel Cox and Rosetta Roberts. Three surviving siblings: Ruth Carque, Kathy Scott, Dannie (Clemmie) Rutherford.

David attended Humbolt Elementary and McKinley High School.

David worked as a machinist at various locations, throughout the St. Louis area for 30+ years and retired in 2000.

Survived by: his beloved companion Debbie McBride and former wife Francis Marie Rutherford.

Four daugthers Janet (Robert) Gaddis, Sherry (Ron Lee) Larose, Jacqueline (Randy) Callaway, and Victoria (Ricky) McFarland.

Step Children Marty (Shelly Marie) Manes, Richard McBride III, and Kathie (Michael) McLeon.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Saturday, May 28 from 9:00 am. until funeral service time at 10:00 am. Interment at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to the American Cancer Society or the Lung Association.
