Russo, Anthony Francis, Sr. “Tony”

born February 22, 1953, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, ended his  courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

Beloved son of Leroy and the late Anita (Coughlin) Russo. He is  survived by his wife and love of his life of 43 years, Jeanne (Reitz) Russo. Dedicated father to his children  Katie Hogan, Anthony Jr. (Dina), Joe and Jim (Lauren). Cherished brother of Phil (Teresa) Russo, Kathy  (Ronald)  Coleman and Linda Russo. The most fun-loving Paw-Paw to his grandchildren Mary Claire, Annie, Lilly,  Mayson, Anthony III, Natalie, Callie and Emily. Endearing son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew,  cousin and wonderful friend to many.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army and a successful real estate broker. He will especially be remembered for his larger than life personality, playful humor and independent spirit. In dedication to his lifelong passion of fishing, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the MO Dept. of Conservation, “The  Conservation Heritage Foundation – Kids Discover Nature Fishing  Program” or to the USO.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS  AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. on Monday, October 24, 9:00 a.m. with Mass celebrated at St. Justin the Martyr Catholic Church, 9:30 a.m.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3-9 p.m.
