Linda A. Roither, 72, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at home while surrounded by family. According to her wishes, Linda has been cremated. The family will host a gathering in her remembrance at a date to be named later. Gifts of love and friendship may be given to Siteman Cancer Center, where Linda received her treatments. Born March 18, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, Linda Ann was the daughter of Russell Frank and Elizabeth W. (Noll) Ward. She was a graduate of Affton High School. On May 19, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Harry Clemens Roither, Jr.
Being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother was the highlight of Linda’s life. She was an avid reader, sewing expert, and could beat anyone in a game of Scrabble. Linda loved interior decorating and using her sewing skills to beautify her home. She greatly enjoyed being at the lake with her loving husband and watching the sailboats go by.
Linda is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 52 years, Harry C. Roither, Jr.; a son, Brian (Susan) Roither of St. Peters, MO; a daughter, Jennifer Roth (Garland Griffin) of O’Fallon, MO; and grandchildren, Emily Roth (Isaiah Butcher), Sarah (Jake) Martin, Stephen Roth, Jack Roither, Hunter Roth, Allison Griffin, and Audrey Griffin.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia (Glenn) Swartz, and a brother, Robert Ward.
