Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Tues. January 11, 9:30 AM to St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM.
Dottie was a very beautiful person inside and out. She was kind loving and strong

When I was a little girl my mother and father played shuffle board at “Cunninghams Bar” they would occasionally take me catty corner to my Grandma Palmier’s, and Aunt Katie’s . I would have the most delightful time there as Dottie would make me over and dress up to be a princess. She never lost that caring gift, everyone who knew her was blessed by the Angel on earth. Always gave from her heart. I thank God I was a part of her family. She was such a wonderful lady. I’m sure she’s at peace now. God bless her

To the entire family I offer my most sincere sympathy for your loss. As a child, I could always see the love between Dottie and Pete, as well as their love for their children each time I saw them. Dottie seemed to have such patience and to be so open and approachable. Though she could not have had an easy life, to me she was always the perfect embodiment of the phrase, “life is what you make it.” She was very kind and invited me to call her to talk anytime when my son was diagnosed with autism, and though I didn’t often speak to her about it, the times I did she was candid and open and I am forever grateful. I often ran into her while shopping at Dierberg’s on Lemay Ferry Road. She never failed to stop and say hi, and always included Bryan in our short conversations. I shall miss her, but know she has good company in family and friends in heaven. God bless you all.
Dottie was a wonderful person. Amy and family, your mother was so sweet and kind. I remember her always being so patient with the kids and always smiling. Sending my condolences, love, and prayers to all the siblings. ❤️
