Remshardt, James, passed away on March 11. 2021.
Beloved husband of Lois Remshardt (nee Cummings); loving father of Beverly (the late David and Beverly’s companion Mark Matousek) Duke and Janet (Joe survives) Klitzing; cherished grandfather of Mandi (Matt) Schweigert, Adam (Ann) Duke, Anna and Abby Klitzing and great-grandfather of Mia and Ava Schweigert and Parker and Sloan Duke; dear brother of Sharon Allen.
Mr. Remshart was a retired Police Officer for the City of St. Louis.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tuesday, March 16, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorials to The Backstoppers, appreciated.
I am so sorry to hear the news of Mr Remshardt’s passing.

May God Bless you James. The Lord gave you a great passion for many things but especially for hunting, fishing and marksmanship. I was looking forward to taking you trout fishing at Rockbridge this year. I will not forget your kindness and friendship and will keep you in my prayers.

Jim will be missed, he was an outdoorsman a good fisherman and hunter and an expert marksman with all firearms. He and my father ( Sgt. Russell J. Armbruster) both worked for,and retied from the St.Louis Metropolitan Police dept. Jim worked for 30 yrs. and one day and retired with respect from the entire department.
