Jonathan (“Johnny”) Eugene Reece, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, passed away on March 28, 2023.

Johnny was born on December 8, 1988, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Ellen Marie Wiss. Johnny grew up in St. Louis with his four brothers and attended Fox Highschool.  At Fox, he excelled in sports, especially football, and received a scholarship to play at Central Methodist University.  Johnny always enjoyed helping others and had a genuine love for people.  Following high school, he joined the Marine Corps, where he honorably served the people of this country.

His life would later be blessed through the birth of his two children, who he loved dearly.  In addition to spending time with his family, Johnny enjoyed traveling to the Smokey mountains, hiking, and fishing.

Johnny is survived by his son Jonathan Eugene Reece Jr., his daughter Kenna Grace Reece, his mother Ellen Wiss, step father Greg Wiss, his brothers Jesse Reece, Jordan Reece, Nicholas Ziegler, and Zachary Wiss, his nieces Aubrey Reece and Alexa Helfin, and nephew Ryder Ziegler.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Monday 4/3 from 4-8PM. Private funeral service and interment will be held on April 4th
