(nee SIEMS) was born to Shirley [The Mom] and Warren [Pal] Siems on May 11, 1945.  She grew up in South St. Louis County and was the big sister to Jill and Pam. Judy excelled at being a student, graduating third in her class at Lutheran High School South in 1963. After two years of college at SEMO, she joined the work force full time as a secretary at Ralston-Purina [Checkerboard Square].  In August 1968, she wed Ron Rauh starting her married life as an Air Force Officer’s wife at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. She became a mother when Nathan Andrew was born on December 9, 1971. The Rauh family unit rejoined civilian life in 1974 and returned to St. Louis, after ending their Air Force time in Laurel, Maryland. Judy spent the next several years perfecting the skills of a ‘stay-at-home Mom.’ In the early 80’s she returned to the work force working in a doctor’s office and later at a real estate company. Judy was considered by her bosses and co-workers as the epitome of the mid-20th century secretary. By the early 2000’s, health issues limited her ability to be at work.   Always an avid reader, she remained involved with Bible studies and book clubs. She also enjoyed learning the nuances of mah-jongg. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the 90’s, Judy also battled cancer since 2017. She succumbed to these and other issues on August 16, 2021.The family wants to offer sincere thank-yous to the nurses and care givers of the last several years. Judy is survived by husband Ron, son Nathan, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren Madeline and Ben, and sisters Jill Khoury [George] and Pam Maurer [John].  Extended family includes her in-laws Steve and Shirley Rauh, Jan and Tom Dollus, 8 nieces and nephews, and 14 ‘grand’ nieces and nephews.
