Michele M. Preuhs, 65 of Imperial, MO died Friday, 17 November 2017 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Michele was born 2 December 1951 in Clarion, IA the daughter of Rev. Orville and Margaret (Peterson) Andersen. She graduated from St. Peter, MN high school class of 1970 and attended college at Minnesota State University, Mankato MN. Michele and Elroy were married in June 1974 and moved to St. Louis MO in August 1983. She was employed as a Certified Medical Assistant at Barnes Jewish Christian Medical Group where she retired in December 2013 after 27 years of dedicated service. Michele was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Elroy, daughter Leia (Quentin Besancenez) of St. Louis, MO, son Andrew (Natalie) of Eureka, MO, son Christopher (Tiffany) of Cedar Hill, MO, grandchildren Ella, Payten and Jackson, Emma, sisters Kathleen (Andersen) Youtsler and Charlotte Andersen, a niece and nephew. Michele was the personality and sparkle of our life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She remained strong  throughout her many surgeries and fought her illness with grace, hope, faith, and a big beautiful smile. A memorial visitation to honor the life of Michele M. Preuhs will be held Saturday, 13 January 2018, 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Kutis Funeral Home South County, 5255 LeMay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO.
