Platipodis, Nikolaos D. passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on March 15, 2016.

Beloved husband of Maria N. Maliaritsis Platipodis; loving father of Tom Platipodis (Barbara), Athena Platipodis Vrentas (Athan); adored grandfather of Nick Platipodis, Alex Platipodis, Yianni Vrentas, and Niko Vrentas.

Nikolaos enjoyed dancing, singing, and making people laugh. More importantly, he was a humble man who was loved by his family, and friends.  May his memory be eternal.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tuesday, March 22, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, in memory of Nikolaos D. Platipodis.
