Dan Osbourne entered into rest on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Beloved husband of Melanie Osbourne. Cherished father of Johanna Dillon (James). Dear brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle, and friend to many.
Dan spent the majority of his life in St. Louis. He retired after many years from Nooter-Erikson. He was a devoted member of the choir at St. Paul’s Church in Fenton. He loved golf, fishing, bike riding and he especially loved music and playing his guitar. But most of all he loved his family and friends.
We love him and will think of him every day.

Dan was always kind to me as a new engineer at N/E. So sorry to hear of his passing – condolences and prayers for his family.
Dan, I remember us chatting in that super-long hallway at the Sisters of Mercy ACTS retreat. We talked about your affliction and you were troubled, but so optimistic about fighting it, and you said that it widened your opportunities to get closer to God. I just wanted to say how much we appreciated you inviting us into your life and sharing your inspirations like you did.
You are an awesome human being. Say hi to Jesus for us. ybiC, -Ted
So very sorry to hear this. Sending condolences and prayers to Melanie and the family.
Our sincerest sympathy to Melanie and her family on the loss of Dan. May happy memories sustain you through this difficult time.
Dan and I are fraternity brothers from UMR. I was in awe of his guitar playing, but in time grew to admire his kind and upbeat demeanor – one of those people you try to emulate. Rest in peace brother Dan.
Please accept my condolences, in the passing of my Phi Kap brother, Dan.
Dan and I were fraternity brothers at UMR. He was the first-year student in my home room during the 1971-1972? year. Dan, you will be missed. Condolences to your loved ones. This is much to soon. Love and Peace.
I just read about Dan’s passing. We were in the same campus at UMR in 1972-73 but did not know each other then.
Years later he was a purchaser at N/E and we (Toros Ltd.) were a supplier for various projects.
We only met once but always maintained a positive, professional friendship.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
