Carl James Naes, 59, of Imperial died April 29, 2021, at his home. Mr. Naes was a medical supplies driver for Crossroads Fiber and had previously worked as a telecommunications infrastructure manager for Brooks Fiber. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. Born Sept. 21, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Arnold) and Edgar J. Naes.

He is survived by his former wife of 16 years: Joy (Morrison) Naes of O’Fallon; two children: Zachary C. Naes and Austin J. Naes of Overland; and six siblings: Gerry (MaryAnn) Naes, Ron Naes, Dean (Mira) Naes, Brenda (Michael) Lewis, Linda (Ron) Noll, Lois (Jim) Protopsaltis.
