Richard “Rick” Myers, taken home by Jesus on Sunday, January 1st, 2023.  He resided in South St. Louis, MO for all of his married life. He leaves a wife, Terri (nee Elze) of 32 years, three daughters, Amanda, Ashley, and Alisse, his father John “Jack”(Francine–Deceased) Myers, and Siblings Dan (Francis) Myers, Tom (Teresa) Myers, Steve (James Totten) Myers and Beth (Sandra Zamora) Myers, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Rick was born and grew up in Alton, Il.  He attended St. Matthews Catholic Grade School and Marquette Catholic High School before achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Louis University. Currently, he was working as a purchaser for Mallory Safety and Environmental. He suffered a massive heart attack, and despite the heroic effort of the medical professionals, he was delivered into the arms of his Savior.

The visitation and service will be held at Timothy Lutheran Church, 6704 Fyler, St. Louis, MO where he was a member for over 20 years, served as an elder and acted as a faithful volunteer. The visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 and 9 to 10am on Saturday.  The funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10am.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Timothy Lutheran Church in care of the Word of Life Student Scholarship Endowment Fund. After the graveside interment, a light luncheon will be available in the Timothy Fellowship Hall as a time for family and friends to share memories and happy times.
