Kathleen “Kathy” M. Mueller (nee Feldt) of south St. Louis County, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2022 following a two-year battle with lung and brain cancer. She was 65.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Hedy Feldt. Loving mother of Sara (Allen) Savat and Erin (Todd) Mohr. Dearest grandmother of Ty and Claire. Sister of Diane (Terry) Auck, Jim (Pam) Feldt, and Terri Adams, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Kathy will be remembered for her megawatt smile, sense of humor and unwavering loyalty to friends and family. She loved her daughters more than life and there was nothing she wouldn’t do or sacrifice for them.

Kathy was a 1975 graduate of Lindbergh High School. She loved 70s and 80s music and — back in the day — loved to dance and party. Later in life, she found joy in cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, watching soap operas and spending time with her family. Traditions and old family stories were very important to her.

One of Kathy’s dying wishes was that her funeral be not a sad occasion, but rather a celebration — a celebration of her life and the impact she made on friends and family. A memorial service at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Rd., is planned for Saturday, June 18 at 10:30 am, followed by a luncheon and celebration.
