Morris, David R., passed away on October 31, 2021.
Beloved son of Norma and the late William Morris; loving father of Anthony (Patricia) Morris, Joe Bridges and the late Josh Morris; Dear grandfather of Logan Morris and great-grandfather of Kailynn Morris and Jacksen Morris; dear brother of Dennis (Sue) Morris and Beverly (Ken) Westlake; dear uncle of Paul, Adam, Joe, Ken Jr., and Amanda, dear caretaker Patsy Helm; our dear friend to many. Mr. Morris served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Boeing after 37 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and fast cars.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, November 4, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm then to Follis and Sons Funeral Home, Fredericktown for visitation Sat. Nov. 6, 10:30 a.m.until time of service at 1:00 p.m.. Interment Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
I went to grade school with David he was a good friend. Sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. David always reminded me of my childhood and your Mom and the summer I spent in Austin when he was in the Air Force. You are in my thoughts. You are much too young to have gone through this twice.

I’m proud to say that Dave Morris was my friend. Dave and I worked together for over 15 years. He taught me so much about the F18 and the Inspection process. He was a kind man who would always say – “Stevie, let me show you something” then take me over to the jet and show me what he had found. We stayed in touch over the years after he retired. We would meet up at times when I was down South on my Harley. I loved Dave Morris, he was a cohort, a sounding board, a trainer and I’m proud to say – my friend. I was devastated to hear the news, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Dave was such a great person. Rode in a vanpool with him for many years. We shared many stories. Prayers to the family.
