Barbara Ann Morris (Stodkiewicz) age 76 of St Louis , MO born December 9, 1941, passed away on Monday June 11, 2018 in her home surrounded by her husband and 5 children.

Barbara was a long time member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in St Louis, MO.  She was a stay home wife and mother until she began working at Schnucks grocery store from where she retired.  She was married to Bernie and there weren’t too many days that their 5 children and their friends weren’t hanging out at the Morris household and many called her their “second Mom”. Barbara devoted her life to her family which was her greatest accomplishment.  She dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren, they were her life. She is survived by her husband Bernie whom she married on December 1, 1962.  She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lillian Stodkiewicz; sisters, Delores Alverson and Dorothy Stodkiewicz. Surviving are her children Theresa Morris, William (Marcy) Morris, Karen (Thomas) Allen, Brian Morris, Stephen Morris; Grandchildren, Colin (Danielle) Allen, Sarah Morris, Megan Morris, Tyler Morris (U.S. Marine, currently serving), Chelsea Morris, Brittany Morris; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Visitation will be on Sunday June 17, from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., at Kutis Funeral Home, (Affton) 10151 Gravois Rd. St. Louis, MO 63123. Monday June 18 2018 11:30 a.m. procession to St. Cecilia Catholic Church for funeral mass. Mass will be said at 12:30 p.m. Monday June 18, 2018 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 5418 Louisiana Ave. St. Louis MO 63111 with Rev.  Anthony Ochoa officiating.  Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Donations in Barbara’s name may be made to St Cecilia Catholic Church 5418 Louisiana Ave. St. Louis, MO 63111 in lieu of flowers.
