Moffatt II; loving mother of Elizabeth (Terry) Rollins and Joseph (Michelle) Moffatt III; adoring grandmother of Adam and Sarah Rollins, Joseph IV, Charlie and Leo Moffatt; dear sister of Barbara Sherlock, Richard Sherlock and the late William Sherlock; dear sister-in-law of John (Linda) and Vincent (the late Tamara) Moffatt. Our dearest aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Louise was born in Chicago and raised in Oak Lawn, Illinois.  She attended nearby Little Flower High School and St. Xavier College.  Louise’s love of adventure, curiosity about other cultures, organizational skills, and pragmatic nature made her well prepared for travels across the United States and Germany with her family as a US Army spouse.  Home included Ft Bragg NC, Edwardsville IL, West Point NY, Ft Devens MA, Ft Benning GA, Washington DC, Heidelberg Germany, and St. Louis MO.   Louise was always a staunch advocate for military spouses and families, especially while US troops were deployed to the Vietnam and Gulf Wars.  Along with her own family, military families held a special place in her heart.  Louise loved opportunities for service, including several positions supporting special education in schools.  As a wife, mother, and grandmother…you’ll be missed.
