Passed away on April 14, 2023

Beloved wife of 59 years to Vincent Misuraca, Dear mother of Grace Shaw (nee Misuraca), Mother-In-Law to David Shaw, cherished grandmother to Michael (Michelle) Shaw, Andrew Shaw, Thomas Shaw, Daughter of the late Phillip and Anne Lo Piccolo, sister to the late Frank Lo Piccolo.

Julia went to work at an early age at Miss Elaine Garment Company where she was employed from 1943-1992 when she retired after 49 years of employment in the garment industry.  She made many friends at Miss Elaine over the years, and she worked as a pattern maker much of the time.   Julia was born in Detroit, Michigan but moved to St. Louis, Missouri as a young child where she lived most of her life.   Julia loved cooking and was a wonderful cook that enjoyed making a big Italian meal and hosting family on most Sunday afternoons.   Veal Parmesan, Lasagna, and Pasta with homemade sauce were her specialties but she also loved to bake cakes!   She was a devout Catholic and loved her family and her three grandsons very much; they were a very important part of her life, and she was very proud of the young men they have all become.

She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

We love you!
