Allison was a fun-loving 16-year-old girl who went to be with Jesus on Monday, December 2, 2019, after gracefully enduring two years with a brain tumor.

She was born August 27, 2003, in St. Louis to Eric and Cindy (Parker) Mills. She was sister to older brother Cameron and granddaughter to Dick and Diane Mills of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dana and Ruth Parker of Kennesaw, Georgia. Allison was a beloved cousin, niece, and friend.

Allison was a friend to all and known for her carefree demeanor. She was a free spirit and didn’t care much what others thought. However, she was caring and kind and had a great sense of humor.

Allison’s faith in Jesus Christ was central to who she was. After receiving the news she had only months to live, Allison routinely stated, “I’m a Christian, so I know I’m going to heaven, and it ends well for me.” She was not afraid of dying because she knew she would spend eternity with her Savior. Allison attended youth group at both her home church, Rooftop Church of Affton, and Southgate Church in Crestwood. She also was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club in the Affton School District.

Allison loved nature, animals, and creating 3D art. She practiced Tae Kwon Do with her father and earned her second-degree black belt in May 2019. She ran cross country at Christ Community Lutheran School and Rogers Middle School and was a pole vaulter her freshman year. As a Girl Scout, she loved camping with her troop and creating swaps for the annual bonfire. She also enjoyed reading and writing and participating in the Garden Club at Affton High School.

Allison won the hearts of her doctors, nurses, therapists, and teachers with her wit and positive attitude. Throughout her treatment, she never complained and continually said “thank you,” even when thanks were unnecessary.

She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 15 at Concord Church (13775 Tesson Ferry Road, 63128). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis or the Missouri and Kansas chapter of Make-A-Wish.
