Lou was a 1960 graduate of Christian Brothers College (CBC).  He was proud of his Italian heritage and growing up on “The Hill.”  Lou worked 37 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.  Rain, snow, sleet or shine, he delivered the mail on his walking route. After retirement, he went to work for Enterprise Rental Company for 10 years.  He gained many new retiree friends as they moved cars from location to location.

Lou was an active father supporting his kids in all their endeavors and lit up when he was around his grandchildren.  Louie was a great storyteller and was known to weave in the occasional colorful joke.  He enjoyed his weekly softball games and running the Men’s league at Grasso field.  He was known for all his video tapes (and cutting out the ending), sitting on the front porch passing time with the neighbors, and memories of camping in Destin, Florida.
