His family is heartbroken to share the news of his passing on February 28, 2021. He has left us too soon and we are devastated by this loss. We know that Rusty was loved by many and that his fun-loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Patricia; children Chritine (Nathan), Jennifer, Christopher; grandchildren Allison, Anthony, Brianna; and siblings Linda (Phillip), Randy (Mary), Paul (Ree), Mary (Jack), Mark (Stephanie).

I’ve been blessed with four great brothers and a wonderful sister, I think we would all agree that Rusty was the “glue” that kept us tightly bound together. How I will miss his smile, laughter, sense of humor, extreme generosity, but most of all the love he shared with all of us. To Pat and all of Rusty’s family, I send my love and prayers for peace and comfort.

So sorry to hear of Rusty’s passing. His presence in a room always brought joy, smiles and
great conversation. At get togethers growing up, those Memhardts and all those kids… so many good memories, so much fun! Rusty’s red hair, a little scruffold and a big smile always set him apart. I was so sorry to hear about Rusty. We were part of the same church family growing up and we graduated high school together. For all of his family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God grant you comfort and give you His Grace to continue forward.
Rusty’s end came far to soon. He worked so hard to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. I always admired his can do attitude. He always had a way to make things work. With every cast while fishing, this year, it will remind me of our loss. His sprit will live through all family and friends.

Rusty will be missed but not forgotten, he was the glue for our Monday meetings and fall fishing trips. Our condolences to Pat and family members for the loss of one great man.
