Jean was a retired hairdresser who enjoyed boating, quilting, reading and Betty Boop. She will be missed by many.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Wed. Dec. 16, 4-8 p.m. Private service and interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice appreciated.
Jeanie was a beloved Sister-in-Law of my late wife and I. Over the years, our children grew up
and became close to ‘Aunt Jeanie’ and will miss her as well. We all had such good times traveling to the Southern & Western states visiting the wonders of our country and meeting people who became life-long friends. We will miss you, Jeanie. Your Laugh, your collections

Jeannie was our dearest Aunt, Great Aunt to our children, Adam and Katherine Ganjani, and Great, Great Aunt to Henry Ganjani. Aunt Jeannie was a wonderful person, inside and out. She was fiercely devoted to her family and had an abundance of love for us all. I’ll miss talking to her – whether our conversations were about quilting patterns (her skills were beyond compare), or her boating adventures with Uncle Tommy, we always ended in laughter and a heartfelt, “I love you.” She will be deeply missed by us all. Wishing Bill and his family peace to bring comfort and loving memories to hold in their hearts.
Summer weekends with Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Tommy on their houseboat on the river will forever be among my fondest memories. Aunt Jeannie, always with a great tan, and can of coke in her hand, making sure all were having a good time. Seeing Aunt Jeannie’s collection of “Betty Boop” paraphernalia was always a favorite of my young children as were the stories Jeannie would share of the significance of each item. Her infectious laugh brought a smile to all those in earshot and her potato salad was a culinary masterpiece of summer foods.
