Maurer, Daniel A. “Ducky”, Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on April 12, 2020. Beloved son of the late Gene (Micki surviving) Maurer and the late Margaret (nee Pieper) Maurer; loving brother of Mike (Joan) Maurer, Maggie (Jim) Lang, Gene (Lisa) Maurer, Kelly (Dr. Robert) Evens, Steven (Chris) Maurer, and Jamie Maurer; dear nephew, cousin, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many. Dan was a proud Vianney Griffin graduate Class of ‘84.
Services: Private services were held at a previous date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to honor Dan’s memory can be made to Vianney High School or to a charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. A Kutis South County Service

I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. He was a friend throughout high school as we got to know each other through soccer and classes together. I am happy that I was able to spend some time with him at last years high school reunion. What a great guy…he will be missed!!
Vianney lost a true Griffin. Dan was a special person who always thought of others before himself. My you Rest In Peace knowing you made a powerful impact on this world.

This is very sad. I just talked to Duckey a couple months ago on Facebook for the 1st time in 30 years. RIP my Vianney friend.
I’m terribly sorry for your loss! I only saw ducky when I was younger but saw Steve quite often through the 90s .

I just found out about Dan’s passing. I was an old friend of his and we lost touch for many years. I always wondered how he was doing. It saddens me to know he is gone. My deepest condolences to his family.
