Beloved husband of Pamela Marquitz (nee Bristol) for over 42 years; loving father of Patrick Marquitz and Timothy (Rhiannon) Marquitz; adoring grandfather of Makenna and Lukas Marquitz, cherished brother of Dan (Anita), Dennis (Patty) and the late Jack (Laverne) Marquitz; dear brother-in-law of Mark (the late Sue) Bristol, Kevin (Ellen) Bristol and Kimberly (Steve) Klein. Our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Robert was a graduate of Holy Ghost Grade School, St. Louis Preparatory Seminary, Cardinal Glennon College and Kenrick Seminary. He was a loyal employee with General Electric for over 25 years. He was installed in The St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame in 2002, and was a Silver Boot recipient in 2007, he was also installed in The St. Louis Softball Hall of Fame in 1998.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Saturday, May 20 from 10:00 am. until Memorial Service time at 11:00 am.  Robert gifted his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Heart Association appreciated.
