He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Loughran (née Petsch), with their two children, Kayla Loughran and Briona Hartsell (née Hatch). He was the beloved son of Marilyn Schultheis (née Loughran) and the late William Loughran, step-son of Stephen Schultheis; beloved brother of Gene Loughran, Bill Loughran, Kevin Loughran, Shannon Scharff (née Loughran), and preceded in death by Brian Loughran. He was an adored uncle to dozens of nieces and nephews, cherished brother-in-law and father-in-law, and the greatest Paw-Paw to Braelyn and Brayden Harstell.

Patrick was born on April 6th, 1961 in St.Louis, Missouri, where he has lived all his life. He graduated from Northwest High School in House Springs in 1979, and subsequently earned an Associates Degree from Jefferson College. Becoming a master automotive technician, he worked alongside his brother, Bill, at JB Automotive before moving to Arvin Auto Service in Ellisville, which he went on to own for the last 20 years. There, he had no shortage of loyal customers; he was the most honest, hardworking man, with so many who adored and respected him.

Though proud of his business, Patrick loved nothing more than spending his weekends at his house on Table Rock Lake with his family, fishing and boating from sunrise to sunset. He had a lifelong passion for bowling and was a member of the bowling leagues at West County Lanes, often traveling to ABC Bowling Tournaments across the country. Many of his nights were spent going to the movies and jamming out to the oldies (Styx, ELO, Boston, et al.) with his daughter, Kayla, and taking dance lessons with his wife, Cindy.

He was a devoted husband, an incomparable father, a playful grandfather, and the most generous, kind-hearted brother, family member, and friend.

There was never any shortage of laughter and love in his presence, and he will be sorely missed.
