Kathleen “Kathy” Lohmann (nee Graf), age 73, of Lake St. Louis Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Kathy was born October 23, 1947 in St. Louis Missouri to Walter and Virginia Graf. She married Joseph Belfiore on June 14, 1968 and raised three children. Their marriage ended and Kathy remarried Lambert “Al” Lohmann August 18, 1984. He preceded her in death.
Kathy is survived by her brother Wayne (Mala) Graf; her children John (Lynda) Belfiore, Stephanie LaManna, and Michelle (Andy) Bullar; her three grandsons Michael LaManna, Anthony Belfiore, and Nickolas Belfiore. Kathy was also blessed with many step-siblings Deborah (Jeff) Meyer, Charlotte (Darrell) Bendorf, Kevin (Melissa) Phillips, Tom (Ellen) Phillips, Neva (Keith) Burg, and Nancy (Kevin) Curran. Including many, cousins, nieces and nephews, numerous friends, neighbors, and those who knew Kathy. We all greatly mourn her passing.
Kathy appreciated, studied, and practiced cosmetology. She was an avid traveler, enjoyed hosting parties (especially St. Patrick’s Day), crocheting, seek and finds, exercise class and spending time with family and friends. Kathy was a member of Optimist International and was a friend to everyone she met.
Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that any remembrances be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was quick with a laugh and a fun addition to any celebration whether birthday pedis or Girls Night Out. Sending love and prayers for the whole family.

Friendliest person I ever met. Everyone loved her. Her outgoing acceptance of all matched nicely with my jaundiced view of the world. We helped each other. She was a great travel partner. We got to eleven countries together. Wish it could have been more. I will miss you Kathy.

Kathy had a special gift of never meeting a stranger and greeting everyone with a smile. She always made me feel like a special friend and confident.We shared many great times together working out at the gym, having lunch’s, celebrating birthdays and holidays. I had the great pleasure and honor of knowing Kathy for over 20 years and can honestly say she always had a smile on her face and love in her heart! We shared many stories and laughs. Lilyana loved talking to her on October 23rd since they shared the same birthday, and your mom would always make sure to call her! Your absolute selfless commitment to take care of her since last June shows your absolute pure love for your mom, and is a tell tale of your oversized heart and one of the main reasons you are my best friend! Your mom will be missed but we all know she is back with Al, not hurting anymore and dancing with Jesus!
I had the pleasure of meeting Kathy at a gathering we both attended. She made me feel like an old friend; she was a lovely lady with a friendly nature who was very easy to talk with and share laughs with, I would like to have had more times with her. Through her, I was able to meet a cousin of hers who has become a good friend. Prayers for the family; she was a special lady.
Kathy always had a sparkle in her eye and a lively spirit. As a child and young girl, I enjoyed the many family gatherings that we spent together. It was an honor to be in her first wedding.
I will always remember her as a vivacious and thoughtful person.

Kathy was a very unique woman, and will be sorely missed. Once you met her, you undoubtedly wouldn’t forget her! We had many great times together, especially St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and making Christmas cookies. She was taken from us far too early, but her spirit, smile, and (occasionally) unashamedly “I am who I am” personality will always stay with us! We’re thankful we had her in our lives, and are proud we were “like family” to her.

Kathy was a great person. So much fun to be around. What I liked most about Kathy is she was non judgemental. So easy to be around. I will miss meeting at the gym and you not next to me, lunch dates and meeting at the movies, celebrating our birthday. Our many discussions on life. Hey girlfriend I miss you. already. Kathy was a joy to be around and loved having her in my fitness classes. She was such a ray of sunshine with a big smile, caring attitude and so much fun to be with. I will truly miss her. My sympathies to her family and friends left behind. I know she is in heaven having fun right now.
