Vivian was a very loving, caring woman. Some of my earliest memories of childhood are of her and Bill, taking care of me; while my parents worked odd hours in the restaurant business.
She was so generous with her time; and taught me a lot about what a loving family looked like. She was very close with her brother and parents.
I’m so thankful to have enjoyed having her in my life! Rest in peace Aunt Viv.
Tell Uncle Bill hello for me.
Vivian was my mother’s cousin (Sharon Ide nee Headrick). Mom and Dad always enjoyed “going to the country” and visiting Vivian and Bill at their beautiful home.
My grandfather passed away in 1957 leaving my grandmother (Vivian’s Aunt Rachel) as a single Mom. The story that I remember hearing is that, after his passing, Vivian got my grandmother a job working with her at Southwestern Bell where Vivian was her boss. Vivian’s graciousness towards my grandmother was always appreciated by the family.
