Gerry Lee Lewis Sunday, October 2, 2022 Loving dad of Jennifer Lee Vawter and Gary Robert Lewis. Dear grandpa of Austin, Andrew, Adam, Chase, Bradley, Terry Jane, Amanda (Tyler), Halley, Sophia, Gavin, and Jayson; great grandpa of Riley and Elizabeth; beloved son of Carrie and the late Cobrin Lewis; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. He served proudly in the U.S. Army then the National Guard, and the Navy. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was most proud of his family and country.
Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Friday, October 7, 9:30 AM. Visitation Thursday 4:00- 7:00 PM. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Dad… you will be forever in our hearts and minds! Your grandchildren will carry this family forward and make you smile down on us happy to see we all got where you guided us too! Rest in peace my Sweet Father! Until we meet again! I love you!
So so sorry Gary you were your Aunt Dixie pride and joy . I remember all your letters when you were serving our country . At least a letter a week to mom. You shared your journey with her . You fly high and watch over your family .
Grandpa, I love you. You were and still are the greatest grandfather ever. I’m so glad i had you, I’m going to miss your voice and you calling to check up on me and always putting your family first. You will never be forgotten, and I will make sure your name lives on. Fly high papa. You will be forever missed.

Too many memories to share, but what sticks out in my mind is carrying soda bottles to the store. Another was when Jennifer was born. He was soooo nervous.
