Beloved husband of 38 years to Susan Lang (nee Brown); loving father of Joseph E. Pivirotto, Anthony E. (Christine) Pivirotto, Loren A. (Dana) Lang, and Aaron B. (Anna) Lang; beloved PawPaw of Logan Pivirotto, Jordan Pivirotto, Viviana Lang, Cooper Lang, Estella Lang and Avery Lang; dearest brother of Brian, Kirk, Carl, and Craig Lang; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
SERVICES: Visitation at Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens, 8749 Watson Rd., Friday, November 13, 11:30 AM until the funeral service at 1:30 PM. Interment Saturday, November 14, 11:00 AM at Rockwell Cemetery in Patterson, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
Lord open your arms to Mark, pray you will give Susan and family the strength to hold the memories and continue to live life as Mark always did! Prayers and love with you Susan, we will miss Mark so very much!
Uncle Mark was an inspiration to me for years. I used to care what others thought and couldn’t be myself. He helped me love me for me and to live life to the fullest. I will miss him very so and look forward to seeing him again up in heaven.
It’s the Good Lord’s lucky day. He’ll be entertained with exceptional guitar talent and experience laughter at every turn. Honored to be friends for 55 years. Our deepest sympathies to the family.

Susan, Mary and I are so heartbroken that this time we all have feared has actually come to pass and you and your wonderful family have lost Mark – one of God’s very special children. We know that Mark is up in Heaven and you’ll be reunited with him again in the future. We pray God gives you comfort and strength during this difficult time.

The heavens just got a lot funnier! I can only imagine what kind of craziness you are up to! Obie will be missed. Wish I could have had one more hunt, another wild night and laugh about for weeks after, Mark. To the Lange family, my deepest condolences, but even more Thank You for sharing him with all of us over the years. Even in his absence he still is making me smile, through a choked throat for sure, but man what a guy he was. See you in the funny papers!

Mark and I first meet around 2001. Mark came to me as a patient. Some days it wasn’t Mark who came for his appointment but O.B.Blevins. If you knew Mark you knew O.B. As a highly talented musician Mark would perform at the Fox theater. Many evenings my family and I would visit Mark at the Fox and get a personnel serenade. I believe Mark could perform beautifully on any string instrument. What times those were. Mark loved his family and loved his family farm. Mark and some of his friends would visit the farm in Patterson and have a great time. I remember meeting his lovely mother and all of us swimming in the pond for hours. We would frequently have lunch together and tell stories. Mark particularly liked history of early America and stories of pioneers and mountain men. Sorrow shared is half the sorrow and joy shared is twice the joy. Until we meet again, Mark, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand. So long my friend.

Praying God’s peace on the family as you walk through this difficult time. While we didn’t know Mark personally, we had he pleasure of working with Susan. Through Susan and Facebook we got to know Mark and his tremendous smile. While we may not be able to see him any longer here on earth what a glorious reunion it will be when our journey is complete. My condolences to Mark’s family. To Loren and Aaron, I am glad I got to know your dad. He was a talented musician who never looked down on inferior musicians such as myself. I appreciated his encouragement, his wit, his humor, his stews, and his company. I am sorry I missed his wake as I was at the Eleven Point River which I know is where Mark would have wanted me to be. We raised a toast to him along those beautiful waters. RIP Mark Lang.
My sincere condolences to your family for the loss of a beloved husband, father and friend. Mark was a comedian and gifted musician. I lived across the street and grew up with the “Lang brothers” on Ray Del Drive in Arnold. It was evident early on that Mark inherited his keen wit from his dad, Bernie. My greatest memory is the house was always full of music. My parents. Helen and Lee, were great friends with Bernie and Joyce. My dad had a knack for car mechanics and he was always across the street working with Mark, Brian, Kirk, Carl or Craig, with their heads under the hood of a car. Bernie and my dad often played practical jokes on each other. I have many fond memories growing up on that street. May your many memories bring you peace.
