Kretzer, Walter F. passed away on Saturday August 12, 2017.

Beloved husband of the late Betty Lou Kretzer (nee Alexander) and Dora E. Kretzer (nee Anderson); loving father of Theresa (Tom) Collins, Kevin (Vickie) Kretzer, Jeffrey Kretzer; dearest grandfather of Shelly Collins, Gina Collins, Thomas B. Collins, Ryan Kretzer, Josh Kretzer, Shannon Kretzer, Justin Kretzer and Austin Kretzer; dear great-grandfather of Brendan, Alyssa, Greyson, Jayden, Alivia, Liam, Olivia and Ryker; dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Walter served in the Korean War with the U.S. Marine Corps.  After the war he became a firefighter in St. Louis City for 30+ years.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd., Wednesday, August 16, 10 am. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 pm.
