Brenda Louise Kreienheder, age 73, passed peacefully with family by her side on October 3rd, 2021.  Brenda was born on December 5th 1947 in Leachville, AR to Virgil Charles Coburn and Hazel Marie Coburn, and was the youngest of four children.

Brenda developed a love of horses at an early age, even going as far to embarrass her brother and sister by acting like a horse in public.  This passion continued throughout her life and she had the distinct pleasure of owning several horses over her lifetime.  Her happy place was at the barn where you could find her tending to hers and others’ horses to ensure they had the very best care.  With a passion for horses and everyone who loved them, she developed many lasting friendships.  Benda never met a stranger and she enjoyed talking with people.  To know her was to love her and became instant friends with everyone she met.  She prided herself on cultivating her friendships over the years and she was one to put everyone else first, rushing to the needs of her friends to help care for their horses, deliver medicine and groceries when they were ill, or just lend an ear to anyone who needed it.  When Brenda retired from Monsanto in 2013, she made sure to make the most out of her life.  Friends and family joked about how she ever had time to work before she retired.  In addition to spending time with her horse, friends, and family, Brenda loved gardening and getting her hands dirty, planting flowers and decorative bushes to adorn her home.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and dear friend.  She made an enormous impact on this earth and she will be deeply missed by so many.

Brenda is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Kreienheder; her sister, H. Charlene Renollet (Coburn); her brother, Charles Coburn and his wife, Wanda Coburn (Engle); her nieces and nephews: Teri Brannon (Renollet) and her husband, Pat Brannon, Mitzi Petty (Renollet) and her husband, Dave Petty, Tonya Dewolf (Renollet) and her husband, Lou Dewolf, Shelly Lentz (Coburn) and her husband Jimmy Lentz, and Brad Coburn; nine great nieces and nephews, and five great-great nieces and nephews; many cousins and close family members; her horse, Twist; and more friends and loved ones than you can count.

Brenda is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles Neely and Maude (Ma-Ma) E. Coburn (Statler), Walter and Mattie Bell Hogland (Street); parents, Virgil Coburn and Hazel Coburn (Hogland); step-father, Fred Debro; sister, Charlsie Coburn; and brother in-law, Rev. Ted Renollet.
