David Michael Kohler Feb. 20, 1985- June 9, 2021
David was the beloved son of Glenn and Joan (Griffard) Kohler, as well as the dear brother of Stephen (Danielle) Kohler and Kristi (Jason) Stranghoener. His happy spirit is also carried on through his four nieces Shelby, Addison, Jacki, and Sadie. He was also a loyal companion to his beloved dog, Brute.
David always had a playful spirit and was loved by many. He loved spending time with his family in the outdoors during activities of hunting and fishing, especially fly fishing. David had a love for fast cars, off-roading, and playing video games with his nieces. His loving memory will carry on through his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Mental Health America, www.mhanational.org.
The family will be having a private memorial service.

I am sorry for your lose. Dave was a good friend to me & my boys Tony Wiles & Matthew Wiles. We are so happy that we got to have him in our lives. He was my buddy & dear friend. Now he is our special angel in heaven. I know he will watch over us just like he did here on earth. He will be missed by so many, & we will help keep his memory alive. He was a ray of sunshine. I am so sorry for your loss . I really wish I could have helped him. What all of you may not know is I had a brother that passed when I was 20. David knew my brother and knows it has been a life long struggle to carry on after my loss. David was a good person that had a great family but God works in mysterious ways. I will always remember the good times we had. I have been friends with David for over 20 years so he was brother not just a friend. Love ya and already miss you bro.

My heart hurts so badly right now. I lost one of my best friends David Kohler whom I loved so much so dearly. I met this stud back when we worked together at Pupillos BBQ in HighSchool and he had the best sense of humor, but yet sarcastic attitude, charming smile, and the kindest down to earth soul. Ill never forget that one Sunday he gave me a ride home from work and looked at me and said you ready for your Massage.. He loved his white Thunderbird and his System.. He loved cars, kids, and Boobs. Like any Typical guy
We had just reconnected this past year or so. I cherish our meet ups, small talk and our video game wars on Nintendo 64 or his nintendo Switch.. my son thought he was the coolest bc he had so many video consoles and games.. He cared for my son and always asked how he was. And he would always ask him if he was up for A Video game challenge. FYI David Kohler I still beat your ass badly at Mario Kart and Mortal Kombat.
God I wish I could go back in time. I’ll never forget our last hangout in your yard while ur pops was mowing and me giving you shit for needing to go help him and ur brother and sister with their famlies got together for lunch with their girls. That was it.. that was the last time I’d see you, hug you, and kiss ur cheek. The day I was wearing hot pink tank top and couldn’t drive or park according to you. Since I took up your whole driveway LoL. U said well good thing ur tits look good. Im gonna miss u buddy the one whom I always liked since I was 16. RiP David Kohler.
