Patricia Charlotte Koehr ( née Thomason) was born on September 13, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Dixie McClay (née Overall).  She attended Harrison Elementary School in St. Louis and later graduated from Beaumont High School, Class of 1953.  She married her husband, The Honorable Jack L. Koehr on December 24, 1953 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in North St. Louis.  Patricia and Jack were blessed with six children, Denise, David, Deborah, Doreen, Dana, and Daniel.  Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Pat spent her life as a homemaker, taking care of her children. She loved to paint and enjoyed reading.  She loved their home and acreage in Sullivan, MO, where they spent their retirement years. She had several dogs throughout the years and loved and cared for them.

Pat suffered a stroke on May 28,  2021.  She spent the last seven months in the Care Center at Meramec Bluffs Retirement Community. She was called home to her eternal rest in the early hours of January 28, 2022.  Pat will  be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her five children, Denise Coursen and husband, Sam, of Austin, TX, David Koehr of St. Louis, MO, Deborah Mowery and husband, Kevin of St. Louis, MO, Dana Baker and husband, David, of St. Louis, MO, and Daniel Koehr and wife, Ruth of St. Louis, MO.

16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 2 cousins, great nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, The Honorable Jack L. Koehr, her daughter, Doreen Koehr, her mother, Dixie McClay (Overall), her sister, Pauline Logaglio, and her brother, William Thomason.

Service at Kutis Funeral Chapel Affton on Wednesday, February 2, at 4:00 pm.  Visitation to follow until 8:00pm. Private burial on Thursday, February 3rd at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, Pat would appreciate donations to Concordia Lutheran Church, 642 East Pine St, Bourbon, MO 65441 or St. Louis Humane Society.
