As Assistant Superintendent of Personnel in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Dr. Paul Koch demonstrated keen insight in hiring new teachers who possessed both a high degree of competence in their subject matter and a passion for teaching. As a result, many of these teachers were career teachers in the District, contributing significantly to its “glory days” during his tenure. I was one of those teachers. I am proud of my teaching career of 48 years in the District, and my longevity was largely due to the atmosphere created by such people as Dr. Koch during my “formative years” in the profession. I had the privilege to teach three of his four children with whom I still maintain friendships. My deepest sympathy to his family.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am grateful to have known such a lovely man. Always with a smile on his face. My love to the family.
Our condolences to you, Challen, and to your loved ones. May Paul Rest In Peace and may his memories be a blessing to you. Ed and Nilde

I shall pray for the Koch family that God will comfort them during their time of sorrow. Much love and. God bless Anne. and. Family
My sincere condolences to Dr. Koch’s family. He was a wonderful teacher, I had him for English at Ferguson back in the 50’s He was also the sponsor of the Scoop Staff which published a bi monthly news letter. I enjoyed working with him and all the others on the paper. Those were fun times at Ferguson. Your husband, father and grandfather was a truly a nice person and a dedicated teacher.
I have never forgotten Mr, Koch who was my English teacher in Ferguson High school 1953-56 and his 10 words each day to memorize, learn the meaning and use in a sentence. I, to this day, thank him for project in learning. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he rest in peace.
So sorry for your loss. Your family we’re great neighbors and we think of you often. With deepest sympathy, Jacquee Kampmeinert

Glad to see he lived a long and full life.
I am so sorry for your loss. While I never met Paul I enjoyed hearing you talk about him. He reminds me of my father who also had a Ed.D and a career in public education. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
