Killian, Lindell Freeman 73, of Fenton, died Saturday, July 13, 2019 at home following complications from esophageal cancer.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Jan (Walvatne) Killian; his son, James Totterer and his girlfriend, Sandi Roark; his daughter, Tish Douglas (Tennyson) and her husband Curt Douglas; his brother Fred Killian; Sister in-law Penny Killian; six grandchildren, Jammie and her husband Curt Borgman, Don Larabell (Buddy), Bridgett and her husband Ciso Penate, Amanda Larabell, Chandler Tennyson and Andrew Totterer; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Hollie, Madelyn, Paige, Ciso and Natalie; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Freeman and Beulah Killian; sisters Loyce and Joyce Killian; brother Jerry Killian; sister in-law Rose Killian; daughter in-law Rhonda (Larabell) Totterer.
Lindell was born and raised in Poplar Bluff, MO. After graduating from Poplar Bluff High School, he attended college in Cape Girardeau, MO. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and served as a Senior Automotive Repairman in the 12th Support Brigade. He completed one tour in Vietnam and received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
After serving with the Army, Lehn worked with his brother at a janitorial service. Several years, later he started an air duct cleaning service in St. Louis. In 2001, he joined a Professional Abatement & Remediation Technologies (PART) as the Operations Manager until his retirement in 2016 due to the diagnosis of cancer.
Lehn was a simple man and took pleasure from the simple things in life. His family, children, grandchildren and friends. He loved fishing, when he had the chance, and car shows.
Services; His ashes will be interred at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis with full military honors on July 19th at 2:30 p.m.(MEET AT JEFFERSON BARRACKS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AT 2:00 P.M.) A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 20th at Kutis South County Funeral Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) from 2-4PM with a gathering to follow at the Arnold VFW Post #2593, 2301 Church Road, 63010, 5-8 P.M.
